Good Coffee and a Good Friend

Had a great conversation over coffee at, of course, Starbucks (that discount is really coming in hand). Met with John and talked some ideas on church planting. Kind of shared my vision and he shared how God was been working in his life. He's been waiting patiently on God for the plan for his life. I admire him and his patiences. I not a very patient guy and it's always remarkable to see other believers have such a faith in God's timing. My prayers are usually "seriously God, any day now." I've been praying and asking God for a team and I'm selfishly praying that John is a member of that team, but I'm trusting God in His plan for this church plant and for His plan for John's life.

John agreed to attend the EXPONENTIAL 08 conference with me, if his job allows. I told him when God raises this money to go. He'll make it possible with his work to go as well.

So the team for EXPONENTIAL 08 is coming together; John, myself and... well I'm praying about the other person. I have two people in mind right now and waiting for God's leading.

We have a couple of people praying about helping us out and are still in need of some more.
