Post from Steven Furtick's Blog. Good stuff. For those of you out there that have been asking God why....or telling God, I just can't take it any more...
This is definitely one of the top five verses in the Bible. Except…it’s not actually a verse in the Bible. The actual verse states that God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
It does not imply that God won’t let you be stressed beyond what you can bear. Or challenged beyond your ability. Or pushed beyond your threshold.
In reality, God gives you more than you can bear all the time. On purpose. It’s only when you can’t bear the load that the strength of Christ kicks in… and He becomes everything you need and more.
