I'm Going into the Movie Business

I had this thought a couple of weeks ago and just had to share it with the blog world. I have this idea for a movie that speaks biblical truth, but from a different perspective. I shouldn't say different perspective, more like from a different angle. Thanks to Prince of Egypt most people know the story of Moses, but the questions in my mind was...what if an Israelite missed the exodus? If we built a story around the fact that "Bob," the Israelite was always one step behind.

He comes home from work and his family and friends are gone. Hearing rucus down at the city gates (did Pharaoh have gates to his city?) he runs down to catch a glimpse of Pharaohs men blazing by on their chariots. Bob grabs a camel and goes in pursuit. Only to see a wall of water come crashing down. Building a raft with his buddy Wilson his crosses the river and continues his journey. Starting to get a little thirst and feeling the heat of the sun, he starts to feel a little doomed. To his surprise he comes to a rock that is flowing water. Even though confused he says what they heck water is water and the story starts to develop....

I'm thinking a summer blockbuster.
