Core Values (4 of 6)

We can’t be healthy as a church, if you’re not healthy in your home.
Colossians 3:18-24; Ephesians 6:1-4

Whether you're married with kids, without kids or aren't married yet; we can't be a healthy church you don't lead a healthy home. I think for too long parents have left it up to the church to raise their kids in a godly fashion. In a majority of households a conversation about God only came up right after church when the question, "What did you learn about today?" is asked or if someone was in trouble.

We want to change that. We commit to training you to lead your household in that way God designed. Because when parents stand before judgment they will be held ultimately accountable for how their kids were raised or how their spouse was respected and honored. Not the church.

As all the other core values are lived out on a daily basis in the life of Ridgepoint this one will be as well. We are going to save resources for the family, focusing on the parents, and not have a mid-week children's programs. We're simplifying our approach to make us better as a church.

Families and marriages are just too important.
