Crazy huh! We are 9 hours ahead here; which makes it 6:10 am (Saturday) here in Israel and 9:10 pm (Friday) back in Phoenix. Let me recap you on some things:
- An 11 hours flight is cruel and unusual torture. To sit in on place that long was nuts. We did get free movies, TV shows and games on our personal TV things. That was cool. Watch American Gangster, Bee Movie, August Rush and Enchanted. Other the August Rush they were just okay. Pictures below.
That picture was for you Cal. I could of watched Hannah Montana's last season the whole way out here, but I think you can guess if I watched it. :)
- Customs were crazy easy to get through and I got my first stamp in my passport. Which was pretty cool.
- Dinner last night was a huge spread of food, just it was food I didn't recognize. Tried a lot of it and found a couple of things I liked. Dessert was good! Picture Below.
- Excited to be here, but I'm missing the people at home. Not that, that is new. I always miss being home, but I get past it and start to enjoy myself. I'm stoked for today. I'll post pictures of all our visits.

Chels,
I miss you too! And we are having a good time. But have been crazy busy going from one thing to another, but it's been great.
Today we saw the place where the sermon on the mount took place. Just nuts to think that our Savior walked and taught from the same place I was standing. We did baptisms in the Jordan River, visited some church, saw the house of the first house church (Peter's home) and ate a whole fried fish; head and all! I know gross, but it was dinner.
A trip I should take you guys on one day!
Food is different. So I might be thinner when I see you guys Sunday. I have been trying everything though.
Miss you guys and love ya.
Josh
