Had tickets to the Avs game last night and I though I would blog about it through pictures.
Started with Famous Dave's for Cam and I. Oh, I've missed you, Famous Dave's.
It was raining on our way down to Jobing.com Arena. There was a sign over the freeway that read "Hockey Traffic." How sweet is that? We're in Phoenix, AZ.
Finally got to the rink and parked in the "special" season ticket holders parking and entered into a special entrance. It would be cool to have season tickets, but I wouldn't ever be able to make it to all the games.
View from our seats. The picture doesn't do it justice. We were only 13 rows up. Closest I've ever sat.
Warm-Ups. Stastny is back. Still no Sakic, but he is practicing with the team.
The game is about to begin and I have missed hockey.
Sorry, once the game started I forgot about the whole taking pictures thing. Avs tied it up towards the end of the first making it 1 - 1. End of the second Avs were in the lead 2 - 1. With 2.8 seconds left in the game the Coyotes score to tie it at 2. After 5 minute overtime and 12, yes I said 12, rounds of shootouts the Avs came out victorious!
