It hit me today that this will be the first time in 8-9 years (couldn't exactly remember) that I am not going to youth camp during the summer! How crazy is that? That was always a highlight for me every year. It doesn't happen often that I miss youth ministry, not because I didn't like it. I just have a different direction I'm headed now. But camp was just one of those cool things I got to do. When Ridgepoint launches Easter of next year. I'm going to pull my lead pastor card out and invite myself to youth camp.
If you are student or a parent of a student, you need to send/go to camp. It will be totally worth it. Take my word for it.
