Missing Out on God's Plan?

Three reasons we keep doing what we're not called to do:

  1. It's what we know.
  2. We fear disappointing people more than God.
  3. We can't stand the thought of being replaced.
I've been there and can testify to the true joy that is found when we seek and give into God's plan.

Cool post. I've been doing a Bible study that talks a lot about being afraid to go against the crowd & how we can't be used by God to the fullest when we are afraid to do this. ANother good point is that we shouldn't always expect cheers from our peers/family/friends. Sometimes GOd will call us to do things others will disagree with, but we need to follow God regardless. Even if that means we endure cold shoulders, sneers, & hurtful comments.

I know I'm not good at most of this. But my prayer as I go through this study is for God to grow me closer to Him to the point that I overcome these fears.
