God Knew What I Needed

It's funny how God works. I was reading Wendy's comment on my Missing It post and got a text to call one of my old leaders; they needed advice. So I did.

After speaking some truth that they needed to hear and knew already. I hung up feeling fulfilled. You know, when you are in your sweet-spot and everything just works. My sweet-spot is ministry. It is what I was created to do...pastor people. Which means loving on people (in this case students) that don't want to be loved and doing it in a way that grows them closer to Christ. Whether it hurts or not.

Thank you God for reminding me what it feels like. And thanks Wendy for the words of encouragement.
